One church. Two locations.

Our church meets in two convenient locations in Iowa City, IA. As you make your Easter weekend plans, choose the campus location that best suits your family’s needs.

Celebrate Easter

15 Foster Rd., Iowa City, IA 52245

  • What time are your Easter services?

Our Easter services are on Sunday at 8 and 9:45 AM. The 8 AM service will have Kids Ministry for nursery-age and preschool kids. The 9:45 AM service will have Kids Ministry for kids birth-5th grade.

  • What should I wear?

There’s no dress code and we’re generally very casual. If you feel like wearing a suit, go ahead, and if you feel like wearing a t-shirt and jeans, that’s great too. Just be yourself.

If you are the type of person that gets chilly in a movie theater, you might consider bringing a light jacket.

  • Should I arrive early?

Yes! We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early as our parking lot and Worship Center seating can fill up fast on Easter morning!

If you plan to send any kids to the nursery or Sunday School classes, please try to arrive 20 minutes early to allow time to get your kids checked in and get a quick tour of our Kids Wing.

Arriving early will also allow you time to take a family photo at our photo op, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and ask any questions of our Hospitality volunteers before the service.

  • Where do I park?

We have a large, free parking lot right on site! You can enter our parking lot from Foster Road to the north of our building or Taft Speedway to the south of our building.

We have a few parking options for specific needs, such as our drop-off zone near the front door, wheelchair-accessible parking spaces in the center loop, and new and expecting parent parking spaces in the northeast corner of the lot.

  • What is your service like?

An Easter service at Parkview looks much like every Sunday at Parkview: we'll sing songs together, pray together, and hear a message from the Bible. However, there are some special elements to remind us of the meaning of Easter: we will celebrate baptisms, a symbolic celebration of new life in Christ, and we will have a choir on stage with our band!

  • Do you have stuff for kids?

Yes! We have a wonderful children’s ministry that will ensure your kids have a safe and fun time learning about Jesus!

    8 AM

At our 8 AM service, we offer nursery for kids under 3. Older kids are invited to join their parents in the Worship Center, and activity bags will be provided to keep them engaged in the message.

    9:45 AM

At our 9:45 AM service, we offer nursery-5th grade Sunday School.

If you prefer to keep your kids with you, they are always welcome in the Worship Center along with you. We also offer a secondary seating area where you can watch the service on video while your kids can get their wiggles out.

Need somewhere quiet to feed or settle your baby? We have a cozy Mothers’ Room located in our Nursery for you to feed, change, and care for your baby. There are rocking chairs, a changing table, bottled water, and low lighting to provide the comfort and quiet you may need. If you need help locating it, ask one of our security team volunteers at the doors to the north wing.

  • Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?

Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live or watch it back on our YouTube channel.
