Family ministry in a university church!

Family Ministry presents a great challenge and also reflects the attitude of Parkview's leadership in regards to our priorities as a church. Parkview is committed to loving, equipping and supporting your family while you are here in the Iowa City area. Family Ministries has the two-fold goals of:

• Presenting opportunities for spiritual growth and challenge for your entire family when you're at church.

• Presenting opportunities for spiritual growth and challenge for your entire family when you're at home.

From giving parents the tools they need to recognize and develop their student's spiritual gifts to providing unbelievable opportunities for your family in our Sunday morning group for children, UNITE, in our Junior High and Senior High ministries, as well as opportunities such as our summer "Kid's Days" and VBS (Vacation Bible School). It is our stated goal to involve mom and dad in the spiritual development of their own children and to include them in the programs we offer for students at all levels. We also seek to provide programs that excel in biblical centeredness, cultural relevance and relational context.
